Solving One Problem At A Time.

Kind follower Viji (@vrviji on IG) gave me some feedback about the Search Box on my blog not displaying as it should on his iPhone. I suspect it is also worsen by the cranky Drupal CMS I am using. Compatibility on mobile devices is inevitably complicated with so many OS, browsers and screen sizes on so many different devices out there in the market. Tip: Resetting zoomed view to default can usually help.

An Idea Came With The Storm

An idea came during the crazy storm just now. Since my blog has many travel and lifestyle content, why didn't I place a hotel search box on it as well?

Storm was so heavy I had to shut down the PC and I am not so well versed with the Drupal CMS. Needed to research on Google. Could not do it when lightning strikes were getting very rowdy.

New Search Box at Mycen Hotels

Agoda introduced a new search box to its affiliate partners via a webinar recently. Was the first time I sat through a webinar and found it very effective and informative. The video was clear and smooth, the audio very good. Amazing how much difference a good broadband connection makes. Another significant positive fact was that the manager answered all my questions later via e-mail. See screenshot of the new search box attached.

Yangon Was Rangoon

RGN Hotel

Another helping friend booked a Myanmar hotel through me. The friend is a fairly experienced traveler to Myanmar and he picked the The RGN City Lodge, Downtown Yangon this time.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Yangon, close to a major thoroughfare but fronts a much quieter street in a commercial district. Although there is old school rattan furniture in the room, the bathrooms have modern rain showers! I like rain showers.

What do you think of the location Myanmar friend Hsu Wai Phyo and Malaysian expatriate living in Yangon, Joachim Rajaram?

With A Little Help From My Friends.

These are some of the hotels near and far booked by traveling friends. Not to brag but to remind other friends that the page can handle any hotel in any city. These are from of the people who voluntarily let me know that they supported me but I can't name names to preserve their privacy. Some bookings were done anonymously and I can only thank those unknown, anonymous kind strangers in general. Appreciate it, all the same.

Links To Hotel Booking Page

A Suggestion And Explanation.

Many well meaning and kind people wanted to help me by booking rooms through me when they travel. I thank you and appreciate your support greatly. I sometimes get private messages from these good people who asked "What was the link to the hotel booking page again?" I understand it is not easy remembering unless you, scroll back on my posts.

I thought about it and I may have a simple solution for you.

Photoshop users will know making the graphic with text is a pain. Cari makan is not easy, I know.

Hotel Hanson

Not all hotels in KL cost the earth. Sometimes, you just want a clean, safe, budget hotel in KL.

If you don't need a swimming pool to pee into or to get red eyes from, try the new Hanson Hotel KL. It is promoted by my friend Lilian Ying on behalf of her owner friend. You can book via my link too.

Need Your Support

Book a hotel room via us

Since my hospitalization last year, I have been trying to develop a new revenue stream to be financially independent. Getting revenue from usual source is a struggle and that was why you saw me pleading for help for me and my cats. Many kind and generous people did help and I appreciate it greatly.

Many photography related websites rely on an affiliate partnership with an online camera store located in the US. It will be tough as our currency's value is diminishing and the shipping costs from the US are astronomical.
