Curry Chee Chong Fun

Here we are at Low Yat Plaza to get an external hard disk.

Lunch is at my favourite Bee Connection where I can have my favourite Longan Honey drink and the little cafe's Curry Chee Cheong Fun. I let the Zenfone3 glide over the pork free dish.

Nasi Lemak At Hotel Farm Ville

One more from Farm Ville Homestay in Sekinchan the other day. Nasi Lemak from Farm Ville's cosy cafe in a metal shipping container. Everything including rooms and toilets are in a metal container. Was cooling during the rainy weather. Not sure if the air conditioners can keep up during hot days.

Rice is presumably from the touristy Sekinchan Rice Factory nearby.

Korean Seafood And Spring Onion Pancake

Korean Seafood And Spring Onion Pancake

Korean Seafood And Spring Onion Pancake.

One of the nicest things to eat at a Korean restaurant is a Spring Onion Pancake. At B Bap, it is fried with eggs, seafood and spring onions. It is both crunchy, fluffy, crispy thin and is cut up into slices like a droopy thin crust pizza. My favourite is from Taiwan House in Ampang Point mall. Spring onion pancake is also a traditional Chinese home cooked dish using eggs, scallions, Chinese chives or ku chai and onions.

Doenjang Jjigae

Doenjang Jjigae

Brave Johnny Ong choice for lunch was Doenjang Jjigae or Korean Fermented Soybean Paste Stew with tofu. Plenty of accompanying knick knacks and soup to fill up the small table at Be Bap. Good thing, I brought a wide angle lens. The deceptively tiny GM-1 is a system camera with interchangeable lens mount. The cozy Korean sidewalk restaurant in Nu Sentral faces the busy KL Sentral Station or transit hub and was crowded with people during lunch time.

Sweeds Black Pepper Chicken

They come and go quick even though the short stretch of shophouses is packed with customers at night. I went there to look for lunch just the other day and not one place was opened in the day, curiously.

Sweeds was the only place serving lunch on the last visit to the elevated enclave. Their tasty Black Pepper Chicken was RM12.90 before a 20% discount. Nice to see discounts offered when so many eateries are hiking up prices.

Sweeds is at 18 Jalan Siput Akek, Taman Billion, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Last Lunch Of 2016

Chunky telur dadar (fluffy beaten omelette) and shrimps. It is extra tasty when the rice is soaked in curry while in transit. RM 5.50.
