Hotel Senigallia is a hotel with a boat or sail ship design in Skopje City, Macedonia (FYROM). Hotel Senigallia is a 3-minute walk away from the Stone Bridge and from Macedonia Square. Located by the river Vardar, it is actually in the city centre. The vintage boat hotel was suggested by my freind and fellow Instagrammer @jaschintaz who is planning to go there in June. I am hoping others can also suggest some quirky, unique and unusual hotels from any part of the world.
Palacio de Sal in Bolivia, South America, is a hotel built out of salt blocks. It is located at the edge of Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat, located near the borders of Argentina and Chile. A salt flat is a desert like expanse of ground covered with salt and other minerals. The site is near the famous antique train cemetery. Aurora Camp Kurravaara in Sweden has a private jetty for boat tours and canoeing or fishing trips that depart during summer. Snowmobiling, husky dog safaris and snowshoeing can be arranged in winter. Depending on the season, you may experience the Midnight Sun or Northern Lights. Surprised that very few Equatorial adventurers regard viewing The Northern Lights as a Bucket List aspiration.
